OT Network Engineer Milan, Italy | Permanent | Hybrid
Our client is a leading hyperscale data centre operator with a growing presence across Europe. They are looking for an experienced OT Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis in Milan.
A hands‑on position supporting the design, implementation, and operation of secure, resilient network infrastructure across critical data centre OT environments. You will maintain network availability, performance, and security while supporting continuous improvement across a critical site infrastructure.
Design, implement, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure for OT environments across critical data centre sites
Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices
Monitor network performance,



investigate complex incidents, and drive root cause resolution
Support monitoring, alerting, backup, testing, and documentation across OT network systems
Solid experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment
Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Fortinet security solutions
Experience with OT systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, or HMIs is desirable
Scripting or automation experience using Bash or Python is an advantage
Italian and English at B2/C1 level required
