We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy What kind of work will you be doing? Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on thermal cooling units for data centers, focusing on high‐performance, cost‐effective design and market‐leading innovation. Design new products or re‐engineer existing ones with a focus on electrical design, collaborating with suppliers, procurement, and industrial engineering while being aware of necessary product marketing inputs. Support product production transfer from and to other locations, interfacing with the main center of expertise. Create and review product documentation (E‐CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). Meet objectives of cost, quality, environmental and time of execution, achieving the best trade‐off between market and internal customer needs. Analyze and resolve technical problems regarding products under your responsibility. Demonstrate competence in international electrical regulations and standards (CE/UL).



Communicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs. What will make you successful? Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 3+ years of experience as an electrical designer, preferably in the HVAC industry. Strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices. Excellent knowledge of ECAD & PLM systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel). Knowledge of active and passive filters for harmonics mitigation, power factor correction and similar. Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles desirable but not essential. English – intermediate level – written and spoken. Result‐oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible, and having a teamwork attitude. Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
