Overview Experteer Overview in this role you will architect and optimize Vodafone's end-to-end networks, delivering high- and low-level designs and industrialized configurations. You'll drive network quality, plan and validate deployments, and harmonise standards across regions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, secure, and efficient networks that support a connected, sustainable future. This is a hands-on position with a strong focus on design quality, cost efficiency, and knowledge transfer. Responsibilities Create and refine high-level and low-level designs; develop templates and modular configurations Enhance end-to-end network quality and optimise deployment processes Plan and validate network deployments, including capacity and service layers Implement virtualization and segmentation concepts; conduct POC validations Lead change management, change planning, and coordination with external vendors Ensure documentation, test catalogs,
and QA activities; maintain asset and change databases Handover solutions to Operations; train teams and support knowledge transfer Drive network harmonisation, standardisation, and SDN initiatives across regions Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and operations teams to align on solutions Support cyber security-aligned network documentation and state-of-the-art practices Qualifications Extensive experience in IT/network design and project delivery in large heterogeneous infrastructures Strong knowledge of passive network infrastructure, TCP/IP, protocols, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VOIP, WLAN, DHCP, DNS, AD Hands-on installation/configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls) Experience with change management, test planning, and QA in network projects Proven ability to manage budgets, CAPEX planning, and vendor coordination CCNA or CCNP and Fortinet NSE 6 or FCSS SD-WAN certifications strongly recommended; professional certifications are essential for adv
