Overview For one of our clients in Italy, Labora Partners is looking for a Senior SCADA Engineer / Project Manager specialised in SCADA/EMS/DMS/SAS systems for the energy sector.
About our client: Our client is a leading international technical consulting and engineering company operating in the power and energy sector, with decades of experience in consultancy services on SCADA infrastructures, EMS/DMS applications and Substation Automation Systems (SAS) for electrical transmission and distribution networks (T&D;). The company defines architectures and functional requirements, conceives supervision, control and automation systems, and specifies and develops advanced control room applications as well as operator training platforms. Its activities are leveraged on continuous, active participation in the main international standardisation committees and working groups, combining independent technical authority with a constant effort to stay at the technological leading edge. The successful candidate will join a highly technical,
multidisciplinary team that supports final clients — typically TSOs and DSOs — throughout the full lifecycle of SCADA/EMS/DMS/SAS infrastructures.
Location: Milan, Italy (with availability for national and international travel)
Education: Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or Telecommunications (with a high degree score).
Experience: Minimum of five to ten (5–10) years of experience in SCADA/EMS/DMS/SAS projects for the energy sector. The candidate must have a proven track record in leading project phases within multinational and multidisciplinary environments, from initial assessment through to commissioning and trial operation.
Role Description: The Senior SCADA Engineer shall lead the different phases of SCADA/EMS/DMS/SAS projects devoted to the client's customers, starting where applicable from an initial assessment and gap analysis of the existing infrastructures, applications and platforms operate
