Rotating Equipment Engineer – EPC Oil & Gas Project (WHP Scope) Milan European nationals only (Visa purposes)
An opportunity is available for an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support a major offshore oil & gas development project, with a focus on Wellhead Platform (WHP) scope.
This role suits candidates with a strong EPC background.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated packages
- Support design, specification, and vendor evaluation activities
- Review and approve vendor documentation, datasheets, and drawings
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation)
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and design reviews
- Support procurement, inspection, testing, and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements





Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Significant experience in oil & gas EPC projects, specifically with WHP / offshore platform scope
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, and maintenance
- Experience working with major EPC contractors or operators
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, etc.)
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural project environments

Contract Details
- Long term contract opportunity
- All inclusive day rate paid in USD
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
