Overview Join Vertiv as an Electrical Design Engineer in Piove di Sacco to design electrical features for standard and special units, driving high performance and cost-efficient solutions. You'll collaborate with manufacturing, controls, procurement, suppliers, and product marketing to meet cost, quality, environment, and time goals. You'll create and review drawings, specifications, and BOMs, and support manufacturing and service with design solutions. Travel between Italy and Slovakia may be needed. This role supports global products and innovation. Responsibilities Design electrical features and dimension principal parts/assemblies Create and review drawings, specifications,



and bills of materials Develop design solutions for special products and support costing Collaborate with Controls Engineering for controls connection guides Co-design with external suppliers and regional colleagues Analyze and resolve technical issues within scope of responsibility Meet objectives for cost, quality, environment and time with optimal trade-offs Travel availability between Italy HQ and Slovakia production facility Apply Electrical CAD skills; ensure attention to detail; comply with EMC and low voltage regulations Follow international electrical regulations and standards (UL, CSA, MD, IEEE) Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in similar activities, ideally in HVAC Excellent knowledge of Electrical CAD systems Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles (desirable) Intermediate English (written and spoken) Ability to work in a multinational and dynamic environment Know-how of air conditioning/refrigeration products (a plus) #J-18808-Ljbffr
