About the role
As the APX Principal, Project Sourcing & Procurement, you will manage the successful procurement of equipment that supports a manufacturing location. You will also support several AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain's Procurement Management portfolio. This includes potential guidance of procurement personnel and oversight of procurement activities during pre‑purchase order (PO) placement and PO administration and execution. You will support our Project Management personnel during the PO execution phase, negotiate pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements with suppliers, and process and approve purchase orders within your limits of authority.





You will report to the APX Manager, Project Sourcing & Procurement and be located at the Westinghouse Italy facility. A hybrid work model requiring you to be in the office two days a week is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers.
- Lead decision‑making and strategy implementation for procurement of components and equipment.
- Lead regular supplier relationship management reviews with necessary and strategic suppliers, engaging teams and senior leadership.
- Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply, identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, and assist with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.
