Join an international company in the premium retail and fashion sector, known for its global presence and modern work culture. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who wants to grow in an international environment and support the finance team in daily accounting tasks for European subsidiaries. The role is based in Milan, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week.Key responsibilities
- Support accurate and timely bookkeeping for selected European entities (e.G. France, UK, Spain, Portugal).
- Assist in monthly closing activities: basic GL postings, AP entries, simple reconciliations and preparation of supporting documents.
- Help with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany checks under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in line with local GAAP, by collecting data and preparing schedules.
- Collaborate with external accounting and tax consultants by sharing information and following up on requests.
- Help monitor tax‑related matters together with the finance team and external experts.




- Take part in improving daily accounting processes, suggesting small improvements and ensuring accuracy in your work.
- Cooperate closely with internal departments and the Group Finance team and support the Head of Accounting with simple ad hoc tasks.

Required qualifications & skills
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting (internship, apprenticeship or junior role);
experience in an international or retail environment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles;
interest in learning local GAAP for different European countries.
- Good knowledge of Office tools, especially Excel (work with spreadsheets, basic formulas, data entry).
- Fluent Italian and good English, spoken and written;
knowledge of German is an advantage but not required.
- Motivation to work with foreign subsidiaries and external accounting providers, and to develop coordination skills over time.
