We are currently seeking a Junior Software Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy
Vertiv is seeking a Junior software engineer to support the development of its global thermal rating tool. In this role, you will be working in an Agile environment with a diverse team of engineers, developers and project managers located around the world to build a state‑of‑the‑art calculation tool that is used to predict the performance of Vertiv’s thermal product offerings.
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Develop and support Vertiv GRS application ensuring performance and scalability, using the proper technology framework and adding new functionalities in accordance with product owner and direct manager
- Write and develop tests to ensure usability of proper solution
- Follow industry standard best practices and design principles to build a maintainable and scalable code base
- Stay up to date with new technologies
- Provide technical support to internal and external application users
What will make you successful?
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly
- 2+ years of related experience in full stack development
- Demonstrated capability with object‑oriented principles, design patterns, data structures and in-depth knowledge of frameworks
