Atlantic Gate is looking for a proactive IT Specialist to join our growing team, based in Genoa, Italy, and strengthen our IT capabilities across Europe and Canada. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting day‑to‑day operations while contributing to exciting IT projects across the business.
What you'll do
- Provide hands‑on IT helpdesk support to internal users
- Maintain and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Linux servers, and internal systems
- Manage and troubleshoot networks, firewalls, switches, and servers
- Support remote environments (Citrix, VDI, Remote Desktop)
- Ensure smooth operation of office equipment and IT infrastructure
- Participate in and deliver IT projects, including documentation and planning
- Perform regular system maintenance and improvements
What you bring
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- First experience in IT support or system administration (1+ year)
- Solid knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and enterprise IT infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and IT support tools
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on mindset
- Team‑oriented with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Certifications like CCNA or ITIL
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding environments
