Experteer Overview As a Junior Embedded Software & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will help develop secure, embedded systems for railway fire detection in safety-critical contexts. You will work under a senior engineer, gaining hands-on experience with railway TCMS, cybersecurity, and embedded software. The role blends software development with cybersecurity to deliver reliable safety solutions. You will join a multidisciplinary team across the full product lifecycle, contributing to secure communication and system integrity. - Support implementation of cybersecurity functions in embedded RTOS-based systems
- Assist in secure communication, authentication, and system integrity mechanisms
- Contribute to software testing, debugging, and verification activities




- Help implement cybersecurity requirements aligned with IEC/EN 62443-4-2
- Support documentation, configuration management, and technical reporting
- Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and lab testing
- Analyze communication protocols and onboard network architectures

Responsabilità
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Basic C programming for embedded systems
- Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded architectures
- Fundamentals of RTOS, TCP/IP, and embedded communication protocols
- Interest in cybersecurity principles (authentication, secure communication, integrity, secure development)
