Firmware Developer
Location Faenza, Italy
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for smart security products.
- Develop digital architecture for software and firmware solutions.
- Author and execute test plans for firmware components.
- Integrate and support IoT devices, intelligent appliances, and home systems.
- Implement security measures during the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in firmware and digital architecture development.
- Proficient in C, C++ or C#.
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience in writing and verifying test plans.
- Knowledge of RFID/BLE technologies and UART communication protocols.
- Good command of English (B2 level).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High problem‑solving ability.
- Experience with secure coding practices, vulnerability management and security frameworks.
Compensation
- Total compensation indicativa: 40,000 – 48,000 euro gross per year.
- Final placement within range will depend on skills, experience and selection results.
