Atlantic Gate is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Genoa and support our growing international logistics operation.Your Role As a Junior Accountant, you will support the day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities of our Italian entity. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with local requirements - while developing your accounting skills under the guidance of senior colleagues.
Support the recording and reconciliation of daily financial transactions
Assist with account reconciliations and variance analysis
Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Help prepare audit documentation and respond to internal requests
Liaise with internal teams and external partners (banks, vendors, customers)
Support budgeting, forecasting,and financial analysis tasks
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or close to completion)
~0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or an internship in a similar role
~ Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
~ Good working knowledge of English
~ Exposure to international finance and logistics operations
