We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy
The Mechanical Designer/Engineer primarily works on Engineered‑to‑Order (ETO) design projects to meet customer requirements in a team environment. These designs will typically be large Power Distribution Cabinets and Power Switching Cabinets for use in data centers. The position requires meeting project goals such as schedule, manufacturability, and cost. Responsibilities include creating designs, drawings, bills of material, and processing Engineering Change Orders.
Create 3D models using sheet metal and part modeling functionality in CAD




Create complex drawings and bills of material for sheet metal, bus bar, and assemblies.
Write, submit, release Engineering changes to new and released product documentation in CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database using our revision control system.
Work with cross‑functional groups with the same goals for the project.
Create order list for prototype units and ensure material is received with Project Managers.
Work with ETO Engineering Supervisor for task lists and priorities.
Occasional contact with outside vendors and suppliers as needed.
Interpret schematics with electrical components such as fuses and circuit breakers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
~ Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience OR
~ High School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant experience.
