The team studies materials compatibility with unconventional fluids and develops innovative coatings and surface treatment solutions to ensure the best performance of new Energy Transition products, enriching Baker Hughes portfolio.
Responsibilities Defining internal standards for coating processes (painting and plating).
Qualifying external suppliers.
Resolving non‐conformities and deviations in coating processes.
Supporting Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) phases as a coating specialist.
Qualifications MSc or PhD in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Technical expertise on coating processes, especially painting and plating, as well as corrosion, material/coating characterization, and testing.
Certified AMPP coating inspector certification or equivalent.
Excellent communication and written skills in English.
Effective leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with team members and internal and external customers.
Ability to travel internationally.
Self‐starter with proactive problem‐solving and solution‐providing initiative.
Understanding of the Energy Industry and commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance with company policies.

Salary Range Initial pay range: €43,200 – €59,400.
