Project Technical Engineering – Focus on electromechanical design The role is focused on electromechanical design of substations (AIS or GIS) and involves leadership over the primary scope to ensure integrity and correct function of the substation system, including conceptual design support and equipment implementation.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead and coordinate the primary electromechanical scope to ensure the integrity and correct function of the substation system,



including conceptual design support and equipment implementation.
- Lead and coordinate teams across all engineering disciplines for conventional projects with moderately complex features, when required by the situation;
leading single or multi‑discipline engineering teams.
- Prepare, review technical specifications and validate equipment.
- Ensure 3D design/models, coordinating and resolving interferences between civil and electromechanical disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with CEI/IEC/EN standards, Italian grid codes, and Hitachi Energy QHSE requirements;
drive design quality and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with civil and secondary engineers to ensure complete interfaces, proper cable routing and constructability.
- Support the project team with claims related to changes in the primary scope, assessing cost, time impacts, and risks while maintaining customer satisfaction through continuous dialogue and excellent service.
