Experteer Overview As a Software Engineer I at LodgeLink, you join a cross‐functional team to build and improve web applications. You'll contribute across the full development lifecycle with front-end and back-end exposure, learning coding standards, testing, and Agile practices. This in‐office Calgary role offers 20% remote work and a clear path to grow in a collaborative environment. You'll help deliver reliable features that support the crew travel ecosystem and company mission.
Benefits Develop and maintain web features using React, Node, GraphQL, and REST APIs with guidance from senior team members
Tackle small-to-medium development tasks, bug fixes, and enhancements while learning coding standards and deployment processes
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, stand‐ups, and team discussions to clarify requirements and improve technical knowledge
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and teammates to deliver maintainable solutions
Create and update basic technical documentation, tests, and support notes as part of development work




Qualifications 1–3 years of foundational JavaScript or TypeScript experience
Interest in growing skills with React, Node, GraphQL, REST APIs, and OOP concepts
Basic understanding of SDLC, clean code, version control, and Agile methods
Ability to follow established patterns and coding standards with team guidance
Basic knowledge of MySQL; ORM exposure (e.g., TypeORM) is a plus
Familiarity with automated testing concepts; Playwright is a plus
Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
Exposure to Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms is a plus
Strong learning mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving, and receptiveness to feedback
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education, training, or practical experience
