Job Title : IT Field Service Technician Level 2

The IT Field Service Technician Level 2 is responsible for providing advanced technical support for the IT infrastructure and end-user computing environment at Ingersoll Rand locations across Italy, ensuring service continuity at the Parma site and through on-site support at other Italian locations.
Provide 2nd-level on-site and remote IT support for end users
Log and manage incidents and requests via the ServiceNow ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software,



and network issues
Support global infrastructure teams (Server, Network, Security) with local hands-on activities
Manage end-user devices and asset lifecycle (deployment, refresh, decommissioning)
Participate in local, regional, and global IT projects (e.g., M&A;, upgrades, deployments)
Ensure compliance with global IT standards, processes, and security requirements
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in IT service delivery
3–6 years of experience in a similar IT support or field service role
~ Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, applications, and basic networking
~ Solid knowledge of: Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 / Teams, Active Directory, Basic networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP)
~ Strong customer focus and problem-solving mindset
~ Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
