Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with Yard Logistics expertise to support a major SAP logistics transformation project in Italy. The consultant will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing SAP EWM and Yard Logistics solutions, supporting implementation activities, and working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners.
This is a freelance opportunity suitable for a consultant with strong SAP Extended Warehouse Management experience and hands-on knowledge of yard processes, transport integration, and warehouse execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions.
Work on SAP Yard Logistics / Yard Management processes, including check-in, check-out, gate activities, yard movements,



dock appointment scheduling, and vehicle tracking.
Gather and analyse business requirements from logistics, warehouse, and transport stakeholders.
Translate business needs into SAP functional specifications and system configuration.
Support integration between SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, and third-party logistics systems.
Configure warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, staging, picking, packing, putaway, replenishment, and loading.
Support testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, and training materials.
Provide go-live and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and external vendors.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Consultant.
