Overview As a Software Engineer (C++/Qt) at ASEM within Rockwell Automation, you design and implement C++ and Qt-based software for industrial solutions in Verona or Bologna. You will contribute to native/embedded UI, multithreading, and software‑hardware integration, while maintaining and improving software components. The role operates in a hybrid setup and offers exposure to state‑of‑the-art industrial software development on Linux/Windows across ARM/x86 architectures. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver impactful products.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug C++ software components for new products and enhancements
- Develop and maintain Qt-based native and embedded user interfaces
- Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to ensure performance and stability




- Contribute to software‑hardware integration by assessing hardware compatibility and supporting design decisions
- Manage assigned software components within a defined scope, including maintenance and continuous improvement

Qualifications
- Degree or technical diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
- Professional experience with C++ programming (or strong academic background)
- Good knowledge of the English language (working proficiency)
