OHB Italiais seeking for its Satellites & Missions Business Unit inMilan, Rome or Turinfor immediate start a
Senior Satellite Verification & Validation (V&V;) Manager Ref. V&V;_2026
You will join a team of system engineers, bringing your experience in leading and driving satellite activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations. As a V&V; manager, you will drive all the activities relevant with the specification, verification and validation of the project, while respecting the satellite schedule and budget.
Tasks
- Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellites
- Coordination, monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all relevant V&V; activities
- Contribution to preparation of Design, Development and Verification Plans
- Confident handling of development processes (e.g. V-model)
- Definition and management of Model Philosophy and HW matrix
- Management of the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment level




- Contribution to definition of verification methods and stages
- Contribution to the definition of the testing infrastructure (eg. Flatsat, SCOEs etc.)
- Support satellite verification and AIT activities
- Preparation and execution of system and acceptance tests with customers
- Evaluation, logging and evaluation of test results as well as the documentation of deviations

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control
- 5+ years of hands-on working experience.
- Experience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaigns
- Excellent sense of responsibility
- Structured hands-on work-approach
- Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Good interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
- University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education plus relevant proven work experience in industry
