In this BoD Leader – EMEA role, you will shape project specifications at the earliest design stage and establish Johnson Controls solutions as the preferred standard across HVAC, Fire, Security, and BMS. You will build and lead a regional BoD engineering team, serving as the key link between consultants, design engineers, and commercial teams to turn early technical influence into a robust pipeline. The position offers regional leadership visibility and a chance to define a new function from the ground up. You drive cross‐functional collaboration to accelerate design‐stage wins into orders and influence product roadmaps. Retribuzione / Benefits Shape BoD-stage project specifications and influence early design decisions Engage consultants and design firms to drive spec‐in strategies across HVAC, Fire, Security, and BMS Build and lead a regional BoD engineering team; establish standard work, playbooks,
and best practices Position the team as trusted technical advisors Map key consultants and design partners; build long‐term partnerships and strengthen thought leadership Translate specification wins into a measurable pipeline; track spec‐to‐order conversion with Sales Collaborate with Sales to convert early influence into orders Strengthen solution differentiation, influence product roadmaps, and track specification coverage using CRM and digital tools Lead cross‐functional alignment of Sales, Product, Engineering, and Service around a design‐stage strategy Responsabilità Engineering background with exposure to design‐stage influence and specification processes 10–15+ years in building systems or related industries Proven experience working with consultants xrdztoy and in design/specification environments Leadership experience in international or multi‐country settings Strong technical credibility combined with comm
