Our organization is a dynamic and innovative real estate company, serving as both a developer and investor with a primary focus on logistics real estate. We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced data centre professionals.
Goodman is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager (based in Milan) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. The ideal candidate will manage the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS, and backup generators. The Electrical Package Manager ensures these systems are correctly implemented, adhere to project specifications and industry standards, and support the reliable operation of the data centres.
Key Responsibilities
More concretely, this means:
- The Electrical Package Manager has overall responsibility, for the management of all aspects of the electrical packages.
- This includes contractor design, procurement, contract governance, pre-construction, mobilisation, commercial aspects and delivery through to hand over with a defect free ambition.
- They are to lead a safety-first culture as a priority, in all aspects of the electrical package management process whilst working close with the Project Lead. He/she must ensure that Goodman safety standards are applied in order to achieve the objective of zero accidents on our projects.
- They will operate in close consultation with the necessary stakeholders and departments, both internally and externally acting as a key interface for respective package or discipline.
Design Support
- Review and comment on all design information in collaboration with the Goodman engineering team to ensure it is buildable, commissionable, and compliant with Goodman’s requirements and those of the end-user.
