Experteer Overview As a Mechanical Engineer in R&D;, you will design and develop mechanical aspects of low voltage switchgear. You translate requirements into feasible, safe, and manufacturable solutions and contribute to new products as well as improvements. You'll own designs, perform peer reviews, and support sub-projects while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting assembly guidelines, shaping the future of electrical infrastructure.
Retribuzione / Benefits Accountable for mechanical designs within LV switchgear assemblies
Contribute to new product developments and improve existing solutions
Translate requirements into feasible mechanical designs following design guidelines
Own design results and perform peer design reviews
Support and manage smaller sub-projects within R&D;
Analyze quality and safety test results to ensure compliance
Monitor development outcomes against technical performance, cost, and timing targets
Assist in creating assembly guidelines and technical documentation
Work independently with supervision while contributing to complex technical challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous design standard improvements
Responsabilità Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent
Strong expertise in 3D design tools, preferably CREO
Experience with PLM systems, ideally Windchill
Solid understanding of system architecture and structural design principles
Knowledge of data management, data structuring, and documentation management
Structured and analytical working style with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
