Business Development Manager – Natural Gas (Italy)
Expanding Emerson's Natural Gas business across Italy, the Business Development Manager will be based in Seregno or Bologna and will drive business development activities with a special focus on Southern Italy. Working closely with OEMs and industrial users, this role blends strategic direction with hands‐on execution, requiring a proactive, "hunter" mindset and the ability to independently identify and develop new opportunities while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
Define and execute commercial development plans aligned with business unit and country strategies.
Actively identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities, particularly within OEMs and industrial users in Southern Italy.
Promote Emerson's full portfolio of solutions, including lifecycle services, integrated systems, and gas technologies.
Drive lifecycle services growth across the national territory, collaborating closely with operations and execution teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technical stakeholders,



and decision‐makers through regular engagement, networking, and site visits.
Manage the full opportunity lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.
Collaborate cross‐functionally with proposal, engineering, operations, and other business units to deliver high‐quality solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and enhance offerings.
Maintain accurate and consistent reporting through CRM systems and sales tools, dedicating daily time to pipeline management and forecasting.
Contribute to forecasting and provide regular updates to leadership to support business planning and performance tracking.
Operate in line with Emerson's ethics, compliance, and quality standards at all times.
