AI is changing how software is built: smaller teams can now design, develop, and deploy complete systems end-to-end. This is enabling a new class of engineers who combine software engineering, data, and AI to deliver real applications, not just prototypes.
At Philogen, we are building a small, high-impact team focused on transforming core business processes into production-grade AI systems. This includes applications used across clinical operations, R&D;, and corporate functions, in a regulated environment.
We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer with 2–3 years of experience, strong coding skills, and a proven track record of shipping real-world systems, with a strong interest in LLM-powered applications

Build end-to-end AI applications: from stakeholder discussions to UI, backend, and deployment




Design and maintain data pipelines and application backends
Work across the stack: frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
Contribute to building a shared data and knowledge layer, including structured representations such as knowledge graphs
Automate and digitalize business processes across Clinical, R&D;, Operations, and Finance
2–3 years of experience building and deploying software in production
~ Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript
~ Ability to build full-stack applications (frontend + backend + infrastructure)
~ Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
~ High level of daily engagement with modern AI tools like Claude Code and Codex
~ Familiarity with the pharmaceutical domain, clinical trials data, or regulated environments is a plus

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
