RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Building Structural Engineer to join its office in Naples, Genoa and Rome (Italy) within the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
As a Senior Building Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex building and civil engineering projects. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high‐quality project execution while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Accountabilities
Design, analyze and verify building structures, ensuring safety, functionality and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Perform structural calculations and analyses using industry‐standard engineering software.
Prepare engineering deliverables, including calculation reports,



technical specifications and construction drawings.
Develop practical and innovative engineering solutions throughout the design and construction phases.
Technical Leadership & Coordination
Coordinate structural engineering activities within multidisciplinary project teams.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior and mid‐level engineers.
Collaborate closely with the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all engineering activities comply with RINA's Quality Management System (QMS), applicable regulations and client requirements.
Review technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices.
Client & Site Support
Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors on structural engineering matters
