We are currently seeking a Technical CAD Designer to join our Protections Department, located in One di Fonte. In this role, you will take on a pivotal role in the development of passive safety devices, as you will be responsible for product design and engineering.

Working independently, you will be responsible for all 3D CAD related Product Development activities: from the initial concept debrief, 3D engineering, prototyping related activities down to the product industrialization phase.




You will also be responsible for engineering new structures to be tested, keeping a keen eye on target cost, feasibility, performance, innovation and aesthetics.
Working closely with our suppliers, you will follow up on CAD related activities so to finalise 3D files and archiving them accordingly.

Technical Diploma and / or Degree in Industrial Design degree.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in plastic parts engineering using CAD software such as Catia V5 and Rhinoceros will be a must have.
Solid proficiency in Catia V5 and Rhinoceros will be a must have.
Proficiency in Adobe Package (in particular, Illustrator).
Knowledge of thermoplastic materials and injection molding.
Knowledge of technical sportswear industry and technical materials.
Strong ability to work both independently as well as within a team, along with strong communication skills will also be necessary.
