Job Overview Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Cryptography based in Australia. Location: Sydney, NSW. Job no: 540324. Work type: Tempo pieno. Salary Lecturer (Level B) – AUD $127,947 to $150,830 per annum + 17% superannuation Senior Lecturer (Level C) – AUD $155,403 to $178,290 per annum + 17% superannuation The Opportunity Join the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in a teaching and research role. You will conduct research in post‐quantum cryptography, quantum algorithms and cryptography, foundational theory and mathematics, and the design and analysis of cryptographic primitives and protocols, contributing to high‐impact research outcomes. You will also support the development of secure, privacy‐preserving, and trustworthy digital systems, and play a role in delivering high‐quality teaching to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Skills & Experience Lecturer (Level B) A Ph D in a related discipline,
and/or relevant work experience. Commitment to staying current with discipline knowledge and developments. Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence. Knowledge of industry or experience of work‐integrated learning (desirable). Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
