We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our DaV Mare Restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
Main duties & responsibilities
Oversee and support the operations in the restaurant to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
Manage opening and closing of the restaurant
Respond to customer needs and questions
Manage inventory operations
Plan in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers all the activities and menu implementations
Ensure that health and safety regulations are respected
Lead and train the restaurant personnel to create a collaborative and efficient environment
Requirements
Strong organizational skills; at least 2 years of experience in similar roles
Proven track record of managing and motivating a team
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem‐solving abilities
Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS systems, reservation platforms, etc.)
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and local health and safety regulations
Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages (e.g., Italian, Spanish) is a plus
Strong customer service orientation and problem‐solving abilities
HACCP certificate
