Senior Project Development Manager – Renewable Energy (Solar PV, Wind & BESS)

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Project Development Manager to join our growing Italian team.
Reporting directly to the Italian Country Manager, the Senior Project Manager Developer & Acquisitions will spearhead the development and strategic acquisition of renewable energy projects (Solar PV, Wind, and BESS) in Italy from mid-to-late development stages through to financial close and pre-construction. In this role, you will lead project planning, due diligence processes for M&A;, and financial structuring while managing relationships with local and national stakeholders. Your leadership will drive the seamless execution of secondary permitting and pre-construction compliance, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, bankable projects that meet financial and operational objectives. Additionally, leveraging your extensive experience with co‐developers and third‐party originators,



you will actively oversee and drive early‐stage greenfield development activities to secure continuous pipeline growth.

Your role
As part of the Italian team, you will collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Accounting and Project Development teams, as well as our headquarters in France.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible as Project Manager for utility‐scale renewable power projects, focusing on late‐stage project development actions, secondary permitting, and leading closing procedures to reach financial close
Leading Technical, Legal, and Financial Due Diligence processes for M&A; transactions and portfolio acquisitions, identifying red flags, and structuring risk‐mitigation solutions.
