We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and tackle high-impact problems in the renewable energy space. Rather than looking for someone tied to a specific framework or domain, we're seeking an engineer with a strong understanding of software fundamentals,



experience building production-grade systems, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You write clean, maintainable code, think in terms of scalability and reliability, and are comfortable making technical decisions.
Acireale or Rome, Italy
Full remote (only freelance consultancy agreements)
Employee Salary Range (Gross Annual Salary, RAL): € 30,000.00 - 50,000.00
Contractor Compensation Range (Annualized): € 45,000.00 - 80,000.00
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain a world-class renewable energy management system, handling tens of gigawatts of power worldwide
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize and scale our backend infrastructure to handle increasing demand
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications
- Write high-quality code and contribute to building complete systems (backend and frontend), not just iso
