PositionOverview
WeareseekinganexperiencedDirectorofPharmacytooverseeoperationsacrosstwoFQHCCommunityHealthCentersinOakland,CaliforniathatfocusonprovidinghealthservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.ServingasthePharmacist-in-Charge(PIC),thisrolecombinesleadership,operationaloversight,andadeepcommitmenttocommunityhealthcare.TheDirectorwillleadthePharmacy&Therapeutics;(P&T;)Committee,managethe340BDrugPricingProgram,andensurecompliancewithallfederalandstateregulationswhilementoringadedicatedteam.
TheFQHCCommunityHealthClinichasbeeninoperationforover20yearsandoffersMentalHealth,PrimaryCareMedical,PhysicalTherapy,&DentistryservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.;
KeyResponsibilities
Leadday-to-daypharmacyoperationsandmaintaincompliancewithCaliforniaBoardofPharmacyandHRSAstandards.
ServeasPICforaudits,licensing,andqualityinitiatives.
DirecttheP&TCommittee;,ensuringsafeandeffectiveformularymanagement.
Overseethe340BDrugPricingProgramwithfullHRSAcompliance.
Mentorpharmacists,technicians,interns,andexterns.
EnsurethepharmacyisinfullcompliancewithAlamedaCounty,ContraCostaCounty,CaliforniaandFederalregulations
Manageprocurement,inventory,andmedicationstorage.
Collaboratewithproviderstooptimizemedicationsafetyandcostefficiency.
Supporteducationalandoutreachprogramswithinthecommunity.
Leadwithpurpose.Buildsystemsthatempowerteamsandstrengthencommunities.Applytoday.
Requirements:
PharmDorBPharmfromanaccreditedinstitution.
ActiveCaliforniaPharmacistlicense.
Minimum5yearsofpharmacyexperience;FQHCexperiencepreferred.
Proven340BProgrammanagement;priorPICexperiencepreferred.
Strongleadershipandcommunicationskills.
Spanish-speakingabilitypreferred.
