We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join our Cold Rolling Downstream Team , supporting the preparation and coordination of technical offers in line with client requirements, internal standard and cost estimates.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical development of proposals, ensuring alignment between client specifications, internal standards, and supplier input
- Define and validate preliminary plant layouts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and technical constraints
- Support risk analysis activities, contributing to the identification of technical and execution risks




- Interface with Engineering to consolidate technical documentation, material lists, and scope definition
- Ensure consistency between technical scope and cost estimates, identifying gaps or optimization opportunities
- Prepare and integrate technical documentation for the final offer submission
- Monitor progress of proposal development, ensuring timely execution and corrective actions when required
- Contribute to the evaluation of suppliers’ quotations and technical alignment
- Collaborate with Proposal, Technical and Commercial Managers in the final validation and submission of the offer
- Provide feedback to R&D; on product improvements and innovation opportunities
- Contribute to market and technology monitoring within the cold rolling sector

Required profile
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering
- 3 – 5 years of experience in proposal engineering or similar roles within Plant Eng
