The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist - Testing Digital and Data Acquisition is responsible for the development, set up, maintenance, and applicability of the data acquisition system architecture in the testing areas of Florence, Massa and Avenza plants.



The string test involves checking the operability, the performance, and the rotodynamic behaviour of Baker Hughes rotating equipment, such as electric motors and generators, gas turbines, gear boxes and centrifugal compressors.
In its mission He/She is also responsible to drive Digitalization of test methodology with a strong focus on Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and the implementation of the related technologies along with the development of data acquisition and analysis software, primarily using Python.
Responsibilities
- Design and set up the DAS (data acquisition systems): check the correct functionality of the automatic measurement systems, software interfaces, calculations modules and data storage according to the test specifications and related documentation, with a strong focus on data pipelines and internal developed solutions.
