Why Your Role Matters The School of Humanities and Social Science seeks a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Security Studies for an ongoing position. The successful candidate will demonstrate research depth and educational breadth covering both conventional and non‐traditional security issues. An ideal candidate would also display scholarly engagement with the disruptive effects of technological change, wider issues in International Relations, and an interest in Australian foreign/defence policy.
Qualifications A Ph D in Security Studies or a closely related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining currency in disciplinary knowledge, scholarship, and professional practice. Proven experience in designing and delivering high‐quality teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including curriculum development across a range of contexts. Experience in the effective use of educational technologies and innovative approaches to online and blended learning delivery. Demonstrated capacity to contribute to inclusive teaching practices and support equity, diversity, and student success initiatives. Strong research track record with evidence of high‐quality outputs, impact, and ongoing contribution to research excellence, with emerging or established research leadership. Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the a
