OverviewIn this role you will oversee the technical, regulatory, and connection aspects of PV and BESS projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate grid connections, interact with DNO/TSO portals and Italian stakeholders, and ensure alignment with grid code and regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate with project teams to optimize design, assess risks, and support procurement and EPC management. You will drive compliance and continuity across multiple projects, delivering robust connection strategies that enable commercial operation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage grid connection procedures and coordinate with stakeholders for potential collaboration up to commercial operationHandle DNO/TSO portals and input data into IT platforms (myTerna, Gaudi', metering, Enel)Assist in technical review and approval of vendors to ensure optimal cost-technical outcomesAnalyze connection options, costs, impacts, and risks with technical inputMonitor grid connection risks and implement mitigation measuresCollaborate with project managers, engineers,
and business development to develop project designsOversee transmission regulatory regimes and opportunities for synergies with other promotersParticipate in consultations with government, regulators, TSOs, and other stakeholdersProvide inputs to investment budgets, schedules, and planning activitiesAnalyze Grid Code Compliance Requirements and develop project documentationSupport Procurement in supplier relationships, cost analysis, and tender materials for grid connectionsAssist with managing EPCs/constructors on connection worksManage the connection process with TSO/DSO including STMD requests, connection agreements, Gaudì registrations, and portal documentationQualificationsDegree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar roleIn-depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, regulation, and stakeholdersAbility to communicate complex information clearlySystematic and detail-orient
