AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Education & Outreach, and working closely with the Cultural Programming team, the Community Programming & Outreach Associate is responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to establish and build relationships to execute events, services and programs.
The goal of this work is to improve the effectiveness, consistency and quality of participation in arts and culture programming.
Stakeholders include community organizations, artists, rental clients, Downtown Brampton BIA, committees, businesses, professional associations, social organizations & services, patrons, as well as staff, interns, students, volunteers, and other City departments.
1.Programs and curates Cultural Programming events and activities.
- Plans and executes programming under the supervision of the Coordinator, Education & Outreach
- Provides community outreach support to the Coordinator, Public Art and Officer, Public Art
- Integrates community participation and engagement in arts and culture programming
- Responsible for post-event evaluation process, as well as executing post-event/program evaluations in consultation with program areas, to determine how future events can be improved
- Collaborate on the dev
