Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Underwriter / Underwriter in our A&H; team in Italy.
Reporting to the Italian Head of A&H; and operating in alignment with the A&H; Continental Europe underwriting strategy, the Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, including Multinational A&H; programmes.
The role will also involve active participation in portfolio management activities and new product development initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement and profitability of the A&H; portfolio.

5+ years of professional experience
~ Excellent networking and relationships skills with clients and brokers
~ Sound knowledge of the local A&H; market




~ Proven and in‑depth experience in underwriting Private Medical Insurance policies and/or multinational insurance programmes, considered an essential requirement to successfully perform the role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
