Job Description Field Sales Manager – This senior, strategic role is based in Cinisello Balsamo / Milano (Lombardia) and focuses on driving sales growth across key automation industries within the Italian market. Responsibilities * Lead and execute the regional sales strategy, aligning commercial objectives with Emerson's long-term growth plans. * Guide, coach, and develop a diverse sales team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. * Drive growth across automotive, food and beverage (processing, cutting, packaging), aerospace, electronics, medical, and welding-related applications. * Analyze and optimize sales channels to strengthen partnerships and enhance go-to-market strategies. * Develop and implement account plans using segmentation, customer insights, and market intelligence. * Collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams (application engineering, field service, operations, marketing). * Own regional financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning. * Build strong customer relationships, representing Emerson at industry events,
trade fairs, and meetings. * Travel approximately 30–40% initially, transitioning to 25% as the organization matures. Qualifications * Engineering background or equivalent experience. * Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and driving strategic commercial initiatives. * Strong ability to engage stakeholders across levels and functions. * Effective communication and presentation skills, conveying technical and business concepts clearly. * Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written). * Willingness and flexibility to travel as required. * Experience in industrial or automation-related environments. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with automation systems, production lines, or industrial solutions. * Industry exposure to automotive, food & beverage processing, aerospace, electronics, medical, energy storage systems, EV & batteries, or welding applications. * Proven track recor
