Production Engineer

Pentair Industrial Solutions business unit is experiencing significant growth. One of Pentair’s strategic growth pillars is the Biogas area. The projects will be engineered and produced at our Pentair sites or at an approved supplier. Pentair - Sustainable process Solution (SPS) is specialized within CO₂ recovery solutions and Biogas upgrading solution. Pentair helps its clients to lower their carbon footprint and energy bills, and currently we serve customers in more than 150 countries worldwide. To achieve further growth, we are looking for a:

MECHANICAL / INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER (m/f/d)

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The Production Engineer acts as a crucial link between production sites, project teams, and other departments. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production through thorough work preparation and material coordination. He / She will follow up the production of projects once they have been designed and will ensure that it will be delivered according to the required quality and timeline.





The Production Engineer will report to the Production Manager ML.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides input during the sales phase regarding planning and lead time concerning production to the Production Manager ML. Evaluates the design in the quotation phase for manufacturability and feasibility for the Production department. Acts as a key figure between the Project team and the Production department.
· Planning: the Production Engineer will follow up on the workplan and will have dedicated Production Gemba’s with the production facility. Develops a project control plan and an overarching schedule for the entire phasing within production and the execution of tasks. Monitors the progress of projects within production and takes action in case of (imminent) schedule overruns or production bottlenecks.
