Salesforce is looking for Senior Forward Deployed Engineers—a technical lead who designs, builds, and deploys complex agentic AI solutions directly within enterprise customer environments. The Engineer will own end‑to‑end delivery on their team, mentor other engineers, set engineering standards, and partner closely with a Deployment Strategist to shape AI strategy and drive adoption.
Partner with a Deployment Strategist to own customer outcomes from architecture to production rollout.
Serve as the senior technical authority in the room, ensuring deliverables meet the highest engineering standards.
Use AI‑supported engineering tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Salesforce Vibes) in daily workflow and propagate their usage across the team.
Influence roadmap by feeding field experience directly to Product and Engineering, turning real‑world edge cases into shipped features.
Build and maintain agentic systems on the Agentforce platform—agent logic, tool calls, multi‑agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails, and enterprise‑grade integration patterns.
Own the data lifecycle:



model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness for AI applications across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
Resolve technical blockers around data integration, model deployment, orchestration, and performance regressions for other engineers.
Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
Build proofs‑of‑concept and MVPs quickly, making judgment on decisions that can be deferred versus those that must be correct on first try.
Provide technical depth on at‑risk or strategically critical deployments and surface field insights to Product and Engineering.
6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with proven end‑to‑end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
