Key Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the day‐to‐day and month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐end books close process (incl. but not limited to recording of accruals/prepaids, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, etc.)
Review bookkeeping entries, closing books, working schedules and reconciliations prepared by the officers
Investigate full balance sheet and profit and loss variances,



provide variance analysis and explanations as part of the books closing process
Support the preparation of VAT, tax returns and other regulatory reporting and review these returns prepared by officers
Supervise, mentor and improve junior staff on their day‐to‐day operational work
Involve in the annual audit process and prepare annual financial statements, performing first review of the statements prepared by officers
Collaborate with external parties as required
Contribute to improvement initiatives, standardization, re‐engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices
Basic Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast‐growing, dynamic environment undergoing rapid digital transformation
Fluency in English and French
Excellent writt
