Orbico SportStyle is a European platform uniting a portfolio of owned and licensed sport & lifestyle brands, including Champion Europe, Game7Athletics and Dockers Europe, within one integrated ecosystem of brand building, retail and distribution. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Costing Engineer to support our Sourcing, Design, and Product Development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the calculation and negotiation of product costs, ensuring our brands have access to the best products at competitive prices. You will drive cost optimization and operational efficiency through the creation of innovative costing tools and the implementation of best practices, balancing maximum value with strong supplier relationships to meet our corporate goals.
YOUR IMPACT Review and negotiate cost sheets and purchasing contracts with vendors, focusing on volume efficiencies, material costs, and market trends.




Drive speed to market by developing advanced costing tools and standardizing fabrics and trims to optimize total spend.
Analyze product data to forecast material volumes and manage budgets effectively to optimize overall costs.
Work closely with Design, Merchandising, and Product Development to achieve design intent at the best possible cost.
2 to 5 years of experience in cost analysis; experience within the apparel or footwear industry is a distinct advantage.
Strong knowledge of costing methodologies and true cost analysis.
Ability to build and utilize technology-driven costing tools (e.g., Python or similar) to enhance efficiency.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to manage complex supplier relationships.
A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English and Italian.
