As the Business Development Manager at cosine you play a key role in shaping and growing our presence in the Italian New Space market. You help turn advanced optical instrumentation into meaningful customer solutions that end up in space, supporting missions for leading commercial and institutional customers.
You work closely with the Remote Sensing Director and act as a key interface between customers and our technical teams. From early-stage opportunity identification to proposal, negotiation and contract closure, you help drive the full commercial cycle of highly innovative space instrumentation projects.
In a small and growing organization like cosine Italy, your impact is immediate and visible. You take ownership, build structure, and help define how we engage with the market while working on technology that is quite literally launched into orbit.
Identify, develop and follow up on new business opportunities in the space and remote sensing market
Prepare and coordinate high-quality proposals, tenders and commercial offers
Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and institutional customers
Support the positioning and further standardization of cosine’s product and service offering
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align technical solutions with customer needs
A technical background (e.g. engineering, physics or similar) combined with strong commercial drive
Experience in business development, sales engineering or account management in a high-tech environment
Ability to understand complex technical systems and translate them into clear customer value
Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial organization with a high level of ownership
Proactive, hands-on and flexible mindset with strong organizational skills
Fluent in English and Italian, both witten and verbal
