About The Position
Accounts Payable Specialist – Corporate Accounting Team, Assago, Italy.
Reports directly to the Head of Accounting in Antwerp and will verify payment approvals and ensure timely, accurate payment processing for QSRP entities.
Key Responsibilities
Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
Obtain payment approvals for non‐cost of goods sold invoices
Enter all supplier invoices into the payables software
Issue notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line items
Process expense reports and procurement card payments
Notify managers when budgeted expenditure levels have been exceeded
Issue stop payments
Discuss payment proposals with local management
Incorporate all applicable supplier credits into payments made




Research supplier requests for payment
Update the supplier master file
Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger
Qualifications
Maximum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payables
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP S/4HANA
Fluency in English; additional group language (Italian or French) is a plus
