Solutions Architects (SAs) work hand in hand with AWS customers to help them make the most of the Cloud. They are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with organizations at all stages of cloud adoption. SAs create and present technical content and share best practices. SAs lead activities such as architecture reviews, white‐boarding sessions, demos and technical workshops. They collaborate with account management, professional services, support, product teams and the AWS partner ecosystem. As technical leaders with business acumen and technical skills,
SAs architect solutions to complex problems where technology strategy and solution design are not yet defined. They influence long‐term technology strategy and advise customers on trade‐offs, build and own relationships with senior leaders, and drive technical solution discussions. Within the Software & Technology segment, SAs work with large, complex, strategic customers and collaborate with Account Managers and Technical Account Managers to shape strategies that achieve business and revenue goals while keeping long‐term customer interests paramount. They operate autonomously, identify new technology‐based opportunities, and play a key role in developing and mentoring top SA talent.
