M&A; Associate Leap29 are seeking an M&A; Project Manager to join the team in Milan. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting mergers and acquisitions projects, including both greenfield and brownfield transactions. This position involves managing financial analysis, transaction coordination, and strategic evaluation of acquisition and partnership opportunities within the energy sector. My client is a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe and globally. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on C&I; and energy efficiency initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPreliminary studies and market analysisDue diligence and financial modelling of project cash flowsProject management in coordination with internal and external stakeholders across EuropePreparation of materials for investment committees and management reviewsSupport the selection and management of advisors or partners involved in M&A; transactionsConduct and contribute to market analyses related to the energy sectorQualifications and SkillsDegree in Economics, Finance, or Business AdministrationMinimum 5 years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A;, Private Equity, or corporate finance within an international environment – ideally within the energy or utilities sectorPrior experience in corporate finance or related internships is considered an advantageStrong financial modelling and analytical skillsProficient in Excel and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex informationIndependent, proactive, and adaptable working styleStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem‐solving abilitiesFluent in Italian and EnglishIf the opportunity to lead impactful energy projects in Italy is of interest to you, please apply directly through the link or contact Georgia Sumnall: gsumnall@leap29.
