Do IT Now is looking for a passionate and very proactive Linux Systems Administrator to join HPC support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Installation, configuration and maintenance of HPC systems based on GNU/Linux distributions as well as all related software components. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for designing and configuring HPC cluster architectures, including all hardware and software components (servers, high-speed interconnects, storage, queue management tools, etc.). Working with our application and system engineers, the candidate will be responsible for identifying advanced solutions, installation and configuration of HPC applications,



as well as developing applications performance improvements. The candidate will also be responsible for client/user training. Skills and Experience Essential skills High school diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar. 5+ years of experience in similar roles. Fluent English and Italian. Good knowledge of Linux Enterprise distributions (RedHat EL, SLES, etc.). Knowledge of Backup and Scripting with Bash and Python. Technical skills and experience Networking: Switching, VLAN, FireWall. Backup and Scripting with Bash and Python. Docker, Singularity, R.Automations Tools: Ansible, Puppet. Desirable skills and experience Openshift. VmWare, Citrix, KVM, Hyper‐V. Relational database (MySQL, Ost, Postgres). Knowledge and previous experience of DELL, HPE and Lenovo Server Platforms.
