Solutions Engineer
Role Overview The Trellix Solutions Engineer engages with prospective customers to understand their cybersecurity needs, crafts tailored solutions, and presents product demonstrations showcasing how Trellix solutions address those needs. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to clients and channel partners in Italy and across the EMEA region, helping them address cybersecurity and data protection challenges.
Lead technical discussions, live demonstrations, and product presentations, articulating the value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Partner closely with sales teams to develop tailored proposals, conduct technical workshops, and lead proof‐of‐concept projects addressing customer use cases.
Support and train local partners, equipping them to position and demonstrate Trellix solutions in the Polish market.
Represent Trellix at industry and partner events, engage in public speaking, contribute to webinars, panels, and forums, and stay ahead of industry trends to refine offerings.




Required Experience and Skills Minimum 5 years in pre‐sales engineering or technical consulting in cybersecurity or IT security, ideally within a vendor, systems integrator, or value‐added distributor.
Strong understanding of core cybersecurity concepts: EDR, XDR, network security, incident response, threat intelligence, and DLP.
Hands‐on experience with at least two security technologies such as EDR, XDR, NDR, or DLP; comfortable conducting PoCs/PoVs and supporting implementations.
Knowledge of EU regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex concepts into clear, impactful messages for both technical and business audiences.
Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, vendor‐specific) are a plus.
